I have interacted with Ravishankar many times and found him quite shallow and Hypocritical. Initially I was involved in some of his ‘Seva’, social welfare projects. It was all done for his own self aggrandizement. There was some amount of token work done with lots of photographs being clicked for publicity. Why go far look at the village adjacent to the art of living ashram. It is called Udipalya. it is worse of than before. Only difference is the ashram land sharks have encroached the ashram now. His breathing techniques are a rehash of rebirthing techniques and yogic kriyas as taught by Yogi Bhajan. He surely is a master of self aggrandizement.

Regarding Madhu’s comment on prostitution, UG always used to tell that ‘Prostitutes are the only people who deliver the goods’ and the ‘Holy business is the only business where you can get away without delivering any goods’.

And Madhu how are you doing. We know each other.

I want to ask why prostitution is illegal and the “GURU” business is not only legal but also respectful!? A prostitute has more integrity than the spiritual leaders.

Yes, Tax exemption, thats an important point. Why do they be given Tax Exemption?

As rightly they teach… in the course… dont be a football of others opinion. But the people never realise that they are the footballs being kicked by the GURU, this they dont realise.
Its absolutely right that they are teaching us how to live and many things, But that cant be an excuse for pocketing millions of dollars. No one knows where all the money is going. The development programs they undertake can be counted on fingers. Any rich person can do it alone. But here we are talking about billions of rupees. And the government is giving them IT exemption. We dont know how many ministers are involved in this.

These people are minting money. Not only that , the so called GURU says , one person has to bring another person. This is to their paid class. And you are forced to do it, what ever may. Many fools are being fooled everyday by such gurus. Its not the fault of the GURU, he is just a very good business man and a marketing guy. Its we who are fools. As long as people believe then we cant do anythg. just wait and watch , every dog has its day. The most pitiest thing is what would be the state of the people who realise at some point that they were fooled.
